Sweating or perspiration is a natural function of our body in which fluids (sweat) are released from the sweat glands of the skin.
Everyone sweats when the weather is hot or during intense physical activity. This is a vital function of the body to cool down and thus protects it from overheating. Sweating also removes toxins and clears skin pores.
The composition of sweat is mainly water, in which many different trace elements and minerals, urea and lactic acid are dissolved.
There are women who do not like to use cosmetics. But even they use anti-perspirant deodorant.
Unpleasant human odor is prosecuted by US law
Did you know that in the libraries of San Luis, California, sweating accompanied by an unpleasant odor is punishable?
On the other hand, some things are absolutely legal - such as putting questionable chemicals in personal care products without being mentioned on the label.
The truth is that the market has recently been flooded with a variety of products. However, they are not as harmless as we think.
Producers of organic and natural products offer a variety of harmless sticks, crystals, roll-ons and liquid deodorants, but some of them do not have the effect we expect.
RECIPE: Home made anti-perspirant deodorant with white clay
All products we need for the anti-deodorant with clay are:
- bicarbonate of soda;
- white clay;
- coconut oil (preferably cold pressed coconut oil).
Product ratio is 1:1. That is, if we put 1 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp. coconut oil, we must add 1 tsp. white clay, etc. Mix well to obtain a homogeneous mixture. If the coconut oil is hard, we must gently melt it (do not use microwave oven to melt the coconut oil) by placing it in a jar, and place the jar in a bowl of warm water, keep it until the coconut oil melts. Alternative way is to just lightly mash it with a fork.
The addition of a few drops of essential oil (lavender, rosemary, tea tree) is optional. In addition to being strong antibacterial agents, these oils will add an extra pleasant aroma to that of coconut if it is not enough for you, of course.
Deodorant with clay - the powerful power of its ingredients
The Fuller's Earth is a very powerful antioxidant that has a strong negative charge. It is associated with a positive charge in many toxins. When the Fuller's Earth comes in contact with toxins, chemicals or heavy metals, it absorbs these toxins and releases minerals that the human body "feeds" on.
Coconut oil, in turn, is rich in Vitamin E and minerals such as zinc, iron, manganese and calcium. Nourishes and makes the deodorant more "slippery".
Soda plays an essential role in the absorption of odors.
White clay has a very delicate texture, no fragrance and leaves almost no stains - all very important factors for a deodorant.
As with all humus-containing products, deodorant should be stored in a container that does not come into contact with metal. By this we mean that even if the lid is metal, if the clay does not come into contact with it, everything will be fine. Just in case, we can also put a plastic cap.
This deodorant is especially suitable for pregnant women and people with sensitive skin, as it is absolutely harmless, does not contain any chemicals and is composed entirely of natural products.

This is a great recipe! I tried it and I am very impressed from the results that was achieved. I was sceptical as I thought that it would not keep the swet away but I was wrong. I would definately recommend to anyone to try it
